I have always reiterated that personally and officially, I am always open to informed and constructive criticism and opinions. Criticisms that jump on bandwagon trends and fail to be based on fact are treated with contempt because they are not only mischievous but intended to misinform. To all the 'IT Professionals' who all of a sudden are making all manner of spurious claims that the @MoCDTI through its Agency - @NITAGhana - is acting illegally, please read the National Information Technology Agency Act, 2008 (Act 771), Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481) and the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendments) Regulations 2025 (L.I. 2512). The Ministry is simply ENFORCING existing legislation that has been on our books since 2008, 2023 and 2025. The proposed new legislation has NOT even been laid before Parliament. I welcome anyone to point out which specific action of the Agency is NOT backed by a provision under the stated legislation. We have a Country to build, and we will ensure enforcement and sanity in our Technology space. Cheers.

After 8 long years of pain, darkness, danger, and neglect, the traffic lights at Awoshie-Mangoase Baah Yard are finally working again. For years, residents, motorists, traders, schoolchildren, and commuters were forced to navigate this busy intersection at great risk. Countless complaints were made, promises came and went, yet the situation remained unchanged. Many had simply lost hope that anything would be done. Today, that story has changed. This may seem like a simple traffic light to some, but to the people of Awoshie-Mangoase Baah Yard, it represents something much bigger: safety, dignity, and the belief that their concerns matter. I would like to acknowledge the support of the Municipal Chief Executive, the Chiefs of Awoshie, and other stakeholders whose cooperation has been instrumental in helping us move this matter forward. I am also deeply grateful to the Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Governs Kwame Agbodza, for facilitating and expediting the process to ensure that this long-standing challenge received the urgent attention it deserved. My appreciation also goes to the engineers and technical teams who worked tirelessly, including through the night, to diagnose the faults, restore the system, and ensure that the traffic lights are fully operational once again. As your Member of Parliament, I remain committed to ensuring that basic public services are not treated as privileges but as necessities. Our municipality deserves functioning infrastructure, safer roads, and a government that responds to the everyday challenges of ordinary people. This is not the end of our work but a stark reminder that when we listen to the needs of our people and act with urgency, progress is possible. I also wish to appeal to all residents, drivers, traders, and community members to take collective ownership of this restoration. Let us remain vigilant and help protect the equipment from theft, vandalism, and damage. Public infrastructure belongs to all of us, and safeguarding it is a shared responsibility. To everyone who kept raising their voices and refusing to accept neglect as normal, thank you. To the media houses and journalists who consistently highlighted the dangers posed by this situation, I acknowledge and appreciate your role. Together, we will continue to push for the development, safety, and transformation that Ablekuma North deserves. #EwuraForABN #AblekumaNorth #NotMeUs #Focus Friday| 22ndMay, 2026 photos.app.goo.gl/SbRkZGE48xQWtd…

@koboateng @samgeorgegh Your predecessor took 15 Ghanaian tech companies including Hubtel, DreamOval, to Silicon Valley and brought Google, Twitter & others to Ghana. They grew through vision, not over-regulation.

The NITA Bill says part of NITA’s money will come from 1% regulatory fees on the total revenue of all ICT businesses. If your tech business makes money, NITA gets 1% from the total money you made before you remove salaries, rent, internet, server costs, taxes, or losses 👍

@HarunaMohammed_ Whatever you think you have done, NPP did 10x better; they still got kicked out. Do you think people care about this? Don't go and implement the 1 job for 3 people and see what happens in the next election.

RNAQ might actually be cooked. Original company registration documents of Quick Credit which was established in 2011, CONFIRMS that Joana Quaye was actually a co-founder and shareholder of Quick Credit, now Bills Micro Credit (which constitutes a huge chunk of RNAQ's net worth) This was revealed through official company searches from the Registrar of Companies. According to these original incorporation records: I. Richard Quaye initially held 90% shares II. Joana Quaye held 10% shares Joana Quaye further claims in filed affidavit evidence that she funded Richard Quaye’s UK education, supported him financially, and helped finance the setup of Quick Credit upon his return to Ghana. She also alleges that after the company became successful, her shares and proprietary interests were transferred without her consent. If true, this case may not just be about marital property. The alleged discovery that she was an original shareholder with 10% ownership in Quick Credit, coupled with claims that she financed Richard Quaye’s education and helped establish the business, now gives much stronger legal basis for arguing that her interest was not merely marital or emotional, but proprietary and commercial. If accepted by the appellate court, the case could move beyond ordinary matrimonial property distribution into issues of beneficial ownership, shareholder rights, tracing of assets, unlawful transfer of shares, and even possible piercing of the corporate veil. Below is the search report from the registrar of companies dated 13th april, 2026.

Well said—but how I wish Dr. Bawumia had shown this same courage and clarity when his own government presided over rendering the people of SALL stateless for nearly five years. Not a single word of apology then. Not even an acknowledgment, even if his party had decided they would never say sorry. It is deeply ironic to see him now championing free speech and condemning state intimidation, when his administration remained silent while citizens were stripped of their very identity and belonging. The NPP’s silence then was as damaging as the NDC’s actions now. Ghana’s democracy suffers when any government—past or present—abuses power or looks away. Dr. Bawumia is right to call out the present wrongs, but justice demands consistency. The patriots he now rallies remember those who were abandoned under his watch. Accountability cannot be selective. If he truly believes in a day of reckoning for abuse of state power, let that day also review the NPP’s own record. The fight for democracy must include the courage to look backward, not only forward.
