@A1cr_Official good question, in my mind the main benefit from practicing in-engine is that there is no context switch, meaning you can take what you have learned into comp with a near 1:1 skill transfer same config, mouse feel, movement, sounds, visual feedback, weapons, recoil, spread etc.

Valve just dropped a big update which is ONLY scripting related improvements, most players might not realize but this is huge for custom gamemode maps, we could only dream of stuff like this in CSGO
