@MeltyLoo This. They are essentially starting over from scratch and wanting a nice barrier to entry. This is the warm up season, and obviously new items and pokemon will be added. It’s live service, it was never going to be fully complete at launch.

Am I crazy or are people overselling how bad the game is. It's launch day. I don't wanna defend them but isn't it good that the things added are still limited in the first stages of the game so it doesn't become overwhelming?

@Arrrrash I feel like I can’t catch up and compete with trios. Even if I were to go in now as a trio, my gear is so far behind because I’m at 100 hours pure solo. I’m fairly sure that’s why a lot of other people are dropping off too.

@hrbomber @AllOnMalone @Arrrrash If you are crew filling solo it’ll match you with either a duo or other solos and match against other crews. If you turn off crew fill then it’ll only be solo v solos. Once in 100 hours I’ve teamed up with someone else

@TheTrueVanguard This outpost update still has me hesitant about jumping back in. Yes, it’s more difficult, but the extra purple and blues just don’t seem worth it on a solo perspective. I think I may sit this out until mid-season update. Hopefully there’s a balance pass for solos.
