Why do you remain silent when your #Vishwaguru @narendramodi treats Karnataka with utter disdain? - Karnataka is the second-highest tax-contributing state in India while Bengaluru alone added ₹9.1 lakh crore to India’s GDP in 2024 – does this not merit a higher devolution of central funds so the state government can address infrastructure issues? - The 15th Finance Commission awarded Karnataka a total of ₹11,495 crores—funds intended for improving the city’s critical infrastructure. Should it not be disbursed immediately? - Ahead of the union budget, when the state sought financial support to implement projects such as tunnel roads, 17 new flyovers, Peripheral Ring Road, suburban rail, buffer zone roads, double-decker flyovers and water supply initiatives in the city, not a penny was allocated. - Bengaluru has 16 BJP MLAs and the NDA holds 19 of Karnataka’s 28 Lok Sabha seats, including all 4 MPs from the city. Is it not their responsibility also to address pressing infrastructure issues in their constituencies? Why are they silent on the Union government’s injustice to Bengaluru? Why do you remain silent when companies are arm twisted to go to other states? Why didn’t you condemn when your leaders didn’t choose our state as part of the AI or the Semiconductor Missions? Also, I am sure you are also aware that in the last 10 years #Bengaluru has grown the fastest among all major metros in the country. 🔹Bengaluru has seen 342% growth in new companies formed – highest among all Indian cities. 🔹The city boasts the highest workforce participation rate in the country at 76% 🔹We are #1 city in job creation in India and top in pay for both white and blue-collar workers. 🔹 We are #2 city in India for direct tax collection 🔹 In office space absorption, Benglauru tops in all the sectors– set to cross 20 million sq ft this year. 🔹We rank highest on the socio economic scale making the city the most preferred destination in the country to migrate to 🔹 Over 50% of the city’s population are migrants – highest absorption in the country. 🔹 2nd highest growth in new car registrations – a direct result of migration. The strain on our city's infrastructure stems from rapid growth and population surge and the government is tackling it with the urgency it deserves. Your party may promote grand slogans like #MakeInIndia, #SkillIndia, #DigitalIndia, #AmritKaal, and #VikshitBharat, but without the contribution of my state, these slogans remain hollow. I’m sure your leaders might appreciate your constant negativity toward Karnataka and Kannadigas, but believe me, that approach won’t bring you any closer to Delhi anytime soon. I am not sure if you understand your constant negativity hurts the state or do you do it deliberately? You are close to everyone in the corridors of power in Delhi, work in interest of the State. @siddaramaiah @DKShivakumar
