I’ve had a few messages asking if I’m okay. I’ve been very unwell, today’s my first day out of bed. While I’ve been ill, a Christmas tree’s been bought & hacked to fit the house. Tonight I’ll sit under a blanket & watch my son decorate it - and I’m too unwell to fix it later!

@DeputyGrocott We’ve introduced a calm zone - sheltered area, tuff spot with playdough or Lego, some books and some colouring. It’s ‘overseen’ by our ELSA or HSLW, it can provide a safe space for some children.

Our little one (just joined primary) is really sad at the moment. She finds breaktimes and lunchtimes really hard. She says it’s the older children running around etc. It’s so hard to hear as a parent when they say they don’t want to go to school. 😔

I appreciate the Carry On films are not a thing these days but I’ve just realised Ray Brooks (Mr Benn voice) also played Giorgio opposite June Whitfield in Carry on Abroad at Els Bells. It did have some funny moments.

3 wks since accident. No painkillers now. Stitches all healed beautifully. Speech pretty much perfect now . Will still need soft diet for 9-12 months as can’t bite or chew, & multiple procedures to realign my bite & rebuild my teeth but…I’m back! Thanks for kind messsges🙏🏻

@EmmaUKAdventure April - sometimes May Bank Holiday weekend & October. Jumpers, winter trousers - lots of black stuff! Thermals too! I use the vacuum bags & store them stacked in a wardrobe. I also clean & put away in boxes winter boots & shoes!!

Does anybody actually have seasonal clothes, as in they “pack away” their jumpers etc in the summer and bring out their dresses and t shirts? I feel like this might be the only way to solve my lack of storage issue

@DeputyGrocott Visiting in-laws in Devon where annoyingly the weather looks quite overcast. Still - warm enough for a swim though! Just finished cooking the meals to take down! Enjoy everyone! ☀️🌊
