@yiddo_mAz @NewSpursOrder There are multiple people at fault. The cross should never come in (Porro) The cross should be blocked once it’s come in (Gray) MGW shouldn’t be unmarked (Sarr) Should probably be saved (Vicario) Romero and Gray have swapped. Gray is doing Romero’s job, and vice versa.

This is why I can’t respect your ball knowledge or your biases. Romero has made the same “jump out of the line and not get back into position” error so many times this year and it’s led to a goal conceded. If it was Danso or Spence, you would see it.

@Tom_Rhodes @NewSpursOrder Porro gets beaten and in no position to block the cross, that's why you either fill the space between the attacker and box or go straight to that far post. He is in no man's land because he's just jogging aimlessly. Gray could also do better sure, it's not all on one man

@yiddo_mAz @NewSpursOrder Porro should be blocking the cross, Gray covering the man at the near post. Sarr is literally tracking MGW and leaves him free. If you want to blame Romero for anything, it’s for running too far and not covering the cut-back to the No. 3

@Tom_Rhodes @NewSpursOrder Sarr doesn't "lose" the man. Romero has forced him into deciding between covering the enqr post and trying to block the cross, or staying with MGW. Arguably made the wrong choice, but should never have had to make it

@NewSpursOrder From what I remember from the full clip, Romero steps up to press the ball as Gray is tracking the runner back into the box. Gray then covers the CB space whilst Romero covers the space the DM would be in. The fault is the cross no being blocked and Sarr losing his man.

Spurs Song Sheet 🎶🏟 🤍💙Home of Tottenham Chants
With plenty of time until Brighton at home, what else can we do beyond another coach meet (which we are very much hoping to do) to push the atmosphere for the remaining home games? Or is the answer to simply repeat what’s been done and hope the players turn up? Would like to hear your thoughts…

@lukeherbert Romero's laziness forces Sarr into a decision between marking his man or trying to cover the front post/ block the pass. Arguably should have stayed with MGW, but none of that happens if Romero is doing his job properly

@Kentworthy @tehTrunk So why would they sell at a much lower price rather than waiting to see if we get promoted and re-establish our value?

I'm not quite sure why people have this idea that relegation = instant ENIC sale? Wishful thinking, no - Surely it makes it even less likely?

@hotel_opinion @ROTS1882 I'm not sure these people can help themselves. Hopefully we can do it again vs Leeds and they can stay the fuck out of it, but someone needs to make that incredibly clear to them

The club totally overhyped the welcome, the pre-recorded interviews, talking about how great it was going to be. It was all too much. Let the fans be organic. Let fans do what they want to do. The club should focus on winning the football match, then come out afterwards and talk about togetherness. Organic fan culture isn’t relentless reels, pre-match player interviews, or fans on Sky Sports News interviewed about what’s about to happen. Stay humble, measured, focused on the only goal that matters, winning. Can we not just be fans for once without the club packaging everything up, only for it to be thrown back in our faces after a 3–0 defeat? Say nothing until you win a bloody match. Contrast to Everton - No mention before the game, not a single post until the fans were on the streets. Tottenham could learn something from them.

Let’s be honest, if the club feel that they need to change then they need to do it now. Part ways mutually out of respect seems to be the only solution considering Igor Tudors bereavement, but the new manager has 3 weeks before the next game. It’s now or never.

@LairySockPuppet Anything we do now is a complete hail Mary. But I'd have more hope in Ange getting 2 wins than anyone else purely because of that connection and the fact we can't score for shit anymore. No manager can fix this defence in 7 games either

If you’re not already fired up for tomorrow, listen to this. I’m fuming. Listen to what these ex-players and pundits think about our chances. Listen to what they think about our fanbase. Listen to what they say our reaction will be if we go 1–0 down. Literally sniggering at us. They seem to think our players are going to hate playing in that stadium tomorrow and that we will make it toxic. Honestly, after hearing that, I’ve never been more determined to show everyone exactly who we are. We are the Tottenham, And we are the best, We are the Tottenham, So fuck all the rest.

Regardless of the manager I think we have to go back to basics now we have players returning 4231 Cuti, VdV Porro right, Spence left Gray with one of JP, Gallagher or Sarr Xavi at 10. Tel left. Kudos right Straight shootout up front between Richy, Dom or RKM

The most damning thing is how much better those players defended on Wednesday night in a game that was pretty much a lost cause. Bodies on the line etc. Today… not so much. Some of them are just not motivated in the Premier League and haven’t been for over a year now. Criminal.
