When @yield released their SDK I had the idea to build YoCA, a DCA app for Yo Vaults.
Why? It was a personal need: I wanted to DCA back in ETH from my YoUSD.
Then @0xwhysomad told me about Yo's hackathon, and convinced me to participate!
We'll see on Monday if he was right.

yoPendle YT experiment check-in: 13 days in. 13 days to maturity. on march 4, I had farmed 1741 $YO. today I have 4,011 $YO ($361 at $90m FDV). since then, the combined APY of my YT positions = ~1695%. and the average APY since february 27 = ~1752% where my position stands: → -$550 spent capital (committed + moose tax) → +$361 in $YO farmed → +$300 YT value remaining → total: $661 intern is IN THE GREEN (+$111, +20%) with 13 days left to farm! 🟢 yes the YTs decay to $0 at maturity. yes i knew that going in. but i won't rule out a "will they? won't they?" situation... yoUSD YT: underlying 7d APY ~19%, implied ~10% yoETH YT: underlying 7d APY ~13%, implied ~8% the underlying keeps outpacing implied. NFA but intern thinks the @pendle_fi juice was absolutely worth the squeeze.

Introducing YoCA (Yo Cost Average): earn yield while your money waits to be deployed automatically.
🆘 The Problem
Traditional Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) forces a trade-off: funds waiting to be deployed sit idle in a wallet, earning nothing. Meanwhile, each periodic buy requires manual execution or trust in a centralized service. DeFi users deserve better: your capital should work before and after every DCA swap.
✅ The Solution
YoCA is a small dApp automating DCA orders from and to yield-bearing vaults on Base. Your money is never idle.
@yield is the perfect match for that. It's a protocol with both stables and ETH/BTC vaults generating yields from multiple sources. Vaults shares are liquid and they have a good developer ressources with a ready to use SDK.

Fun fact: The trailer releases for Dune 1 & 2 both happened at the bottom of bear markets. Bitcoin went on to have bull runs that led to new all time highs and lasted for years each time. The trailer for Dune 3 released today. Run it back turbo.
