YMCA Go! is moving into its next year of delivery. Thank you so much for the National Lottery for their continued support! Young people were able to access over 350 positive activities in the last financial year. They grew confidence, made new friends, shared delicious meals, learned new skills, experienced a range of day trips and had an amazing time. Some of the highlights included a 10-week course in British Sign Language, a brand new Saturday Breakfast Club, an Outwood Bounds Residential...even trips to theme parks! #YMCA | @TNLComFund

Connecting young people to valuable and memorable opportunities ✨ The Know Your Neighbourhood Programme has come to an end! This wonderful programme supported a range of offers here at YMCA North Staffordshire, including our customer activities, Sanctus and our Pantry. Through the project we led a volunteer initiative with our residents, including activities such as painting a mural in a local care home, litter picks in nearby parks, and craft sessions to support charities in our area. Over the course of the project we have engaged over thirty young people, worked with over 270 volunteers, and collaborated with several local organisations, such as Mothers2Mothers and the Hubb Foundation, due to the Know Your Neighbourhood scheme funding our activities and transport. Thank you to the Know Your Neighbourhood scheme and the Community Foundation for Staffordshire for making this possible! And, of course, a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers for taking part, whether they were leading or participating in these fantastic sessions and projects. Everybody has made such a difference! ❤️ #YMCA

I don't know what I would've done without your amazing help" We’re pleased to share that we’ve secured Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Support in partnership with The Gingerbread Centre, helping us continue providing vital wrap-around support for the young people we work with. This funding allows our Housing Team to go beyond accommodation: offering tailored support to young people who have experienced disadvantage, helping them navigate challenges, build stability, and move towards a more positive future. From practical help to emotional support, this funding makes a real difference in ensuring no young person feels alone in their journey. The support our Personal Development Coaches offers is crucial - "I've seen a lot of support from my PDC... she helped me get acquainted and settled into my room alongside helping me move my things into the room and setting down a place of my own" Thank you to Stoke Council for making this possible! #YMCA | @SoTCityCouncil | @BiscuitNews
