I value local news and believe that paying my local journalists a living wage is the best way to ensure the Chronicle continues to serve Bozeman. They deserve a living wage, and $16 an hour is not going to cut it. Stop lowballing and pay your journalists fairly. 2/2

Adams has kept its journalists under 40 hours a week since the pandemic, and it’s held steady at a slap-in-the-face 37.5 hours per week for about two years. A fair contract for our Bozeman friends is the least Adams could do.

We've been bargaining with Adams Publishing since July, but they continue to insist on paying their journalist's poverty wages. We need a fair contract now.

.@PublishingAdams can buy 13 new papers, but won’t return its reporters to a 40-hour work week and are lowballing us on wage proposals during ongoing contract negotiations. We just want a living wage. It’s time for Adams to actually support its reporters as it expand in Montana.
