Why is @yoast adding every single sitemap in a multisite to the robots.txt? Why is this limited to 100 sites (the built-in get_sites limit)? Why is the filter for disabling only working for subfolders but not subdomains? Why is this filter not documented?

@gaganghotra_ The primaryImageOfPage is a Schema.org Property that indicates the main image on the page. That means it has to be one. You cannot have multiple. As the name suggests, it's the primary image.

@tomtolkien Hey @tomtolkien, we’d like to reassure you, and to be clear, Yoast will never share anyone’s content without permission. Our customers are, and will always be, fully in control of their website’s content. Any future choices will remain entirely up to them.

So according to an email I just received from Yoast, Yoast (which has massively ramped up its annual pricing over the last few years) is now planning to sell users’ website content to Microsoft’s AI platform without an opt-in. Or am I missing something, @Yoast? yoast.com/press/yoast-nl…

@trusktr Hey! We apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Are you still experiencing this issue? If you're using the block editor or a supported page builder like Elementor, and have the latest version of our plugin, it should be able to detect images added to the content.

.@yoast not going to lie kind of really confusing to remove duplicate and change it to new draft when using a duplicate page plugin - but that is not the issue. I have new draft checked in settings and unchecked clone and nothing is showing now.

@tomtolkien Hi Tom! The "yoast-text-mark" code is unrelated to the AI features. It's only used in the editor to highlight content, when you use the eye highlighter. However, we're not able to reproduce this issue on our end. Our support team has just sent you an email with more details.

@yoast Head's up: the latest version of your Premium plugin is throwing out *uncommanded* AI generated code (even when Yoast AI is turned off, which it is on our sites) Such as: "
>" . As you should be aware, this is REALLY BAD FOR SEO, and it's NOT THE FIRST TIME your plugin has done this. Perhaps give the plugin back to @jdevalk - it's not been the same since 2021...

@Yoast Jomar from your outsourced "support" just sent us an email. Not only was it a canned copy-paste, it had the wrong subscription info, incorrect pricing, no VAT, and tried to lock us into a 2-year plan we never agreed to. (As if 1 year wasn’t already price-gouging.) This is now looking a lot like a cancellation. Yoast used to be great to deal with. Now you’re a parasite. Your customers aren’t stupid. I won’t pay if you treat me like an idiot.

And this year, 2025, it's gone up to $427.68 - for the same @yoast product and no earth shattering improvements to that product. There is 15% reduction for signing up for two years, but no price is provided for that. It's a blank cheque sign up button! Why would I pay more for a Yoast subscription than webhosting?
