Hi everyone,
I would like to sincerely apologize for my use of the Domestic Violence Hand Signal.
At the time, my use of the signal came from a lack of awareness and understanding of its true meaning and the serious context in which it is intended to be used. I am now aware of how important and the meaning that the hand signal holds. Therefore, I am truly sorry to everyone who felt concerned, disappointed, or hurt by my actions. I take responsibility for my mistake and understand why many people felt the way they did.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak up and share your thoughts with me. I have read your messages, listened to your feedback, and I truly appreciate those who helped me better understand the meaning and importance of this signal.
I will carry this lesson with me and be more thoughtful in the future. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow. 🙏🏻
Hello,
I have read all of your messages regarding my inappropriate use of the Signal for Help, and I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone from the bottom of my heart.
Previously, I mistakenly believed that the Signal for Help was a general hand gesture that could be used in different situations to ask for help. Because of this misunderstanding, I used it without learning its true meaning and purpose. This was my mistake, and it should never have happened.
After learning what the Signal for Help actually means, I felt deeply sorry for my actions. I now understand that what I did may have caused this important signal to be used out of its intended context.
I acknowledge my mistake and I will be more careful and take the time to properly understand the meaning of symbols and other sensitive issues before using or sharing them, so that this does not happen again.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to educate and correct me. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and I sincerely apologize once again. 🙏🏻
