I'm so desperate with my insomnia. I often get only two or three hours sleep and somehow manage to drag myself to work. I've lost the ability to feel "tiredness" and I'm just completely exhausted all the time. There is something seriously wrong with my brain after Mirtazapine.

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets I don’t need to persuade anyone they’re wrong or right. Your beliefs or others’ beliefs don’t bother me nor would it stop me being their friend. I observe actions. Thank you for discussing things relatively more calmly than some. :)

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets No, I didn’t see your evidrnce, sorry, you have selected ones supporting your bias. That’s fine but just acknowledge it. A RW supporter could do the same by looking at antifa attacks etc.until both can recognise bias then nothing will resolve. It takes patience as I am with you

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets I wasn’t the one who said one was more violent than the other. I agree both have extremism. So you’re half right. This account is anon so I can save things I want to look at further that don’t necessarily align with my beliefs but that I can’t do on my other accounts.

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets You didn’t share evidence - you have a belief, not evidence. It’s not a problem that you have LW beliefs - I run socially conscious orgs but I’ve met plenty of right of centre people who are too & I’ve modified my views. Normal people need to come together & stop the polarising

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets I don’t think anyone is unbiased it is human nature to have bias and judgement is a survival mechanism. I take issue with blind adherence to doctrine without awareness of personal bias. I’m not afraid to learn I might be wrong are you?

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets No, I have this account to learn something about things I don’t know. I was always fundamentally left wing in the past. Today I see the benefit in balance. I retweet for my own reference.

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets But it’s not true. There is violence on both. Where are you getting your evidence from? You are using bias towards your favoured group. Just be aware of it and think critically

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets I am simply correcting your belief that the left can do no wrong. It is not true. When things move far one way of centre, the centre looks extreme. Be mindful of extremes & excesses. I have no allegiance to R or L. ‘Evil’ is not unidirectional just remember that.

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets Well it would be wise to understand extreme left wing ideology a bit better. It makes no difference what you want to believe about the Left, at its extremes it is toxic and violent. It makes it no less left. Example of Far right extremes doesn’t make it ‘not right wing’

@BigManMushrooms @KemtrupTweets Ok, there’s not very much wrong with encouraging people to make better personal choices per se. The middle ground between dependence and independence is a healthy interdependence

@camus_absurd @strugacademic @KemtrupTweets Stalin and Mao were communists, which is left wing! And this is the point - it is circular- left and right meet at the extremes so we need to stop arguing about it. It does not help! I don’t care what politics you have, you are a human being & I roll always treat you as such

@BigManMushrooms @KemtrupTweets That’s a generalisation. we must learn to engage with all things & have discussions. I work in a way that is socially conscious but don’t align with R or L ideology - it’s just the human thing to do. Both L & R have faults & we must recognise both. Politics has no place in health

@psychgeist52 I totally agree with this - the whole reason the ‘conspiracy theory’ thing is so great is because certain topics have been taken off the table completely & that’s just a breeding ground for extremism on all sides. Thing is there should be no ‘sides’ at all in this !

@psychgeist52 Sadly, the C19 period of denial of open debate & legitimate concerns by scientists & public has led to an outright binary of conspiracy theorist vs ‘correct narrative’. It has to stop & open discussion & debate must return across all fields no matter the topic.

I can't stress how dangerous it is to call legitiate critique of a contingent framework such as the medical model in psychiatry, "conspiracy theory." What has happened to academia; what has happened to scientific debate; what has happened to ethics? link.springer.com/article/10.100…
