While complaining about being a broke b!tch (I was likely teasing my guy friend about him having to pay for a lunch he wanted) he asked how much I made. When I told him, he said he made 4xs what I did for literally half the time (he was PT) and half the work. #BlackWomensEqualPay

Next steps were considered & new approaches moving forward was strategized. The main issue was I enjoyed my job but learned my counterparts were getting paid more.

My mom once told me to call Amazon & tell them the price she was willing to pay for an exercise bike on their site. She was so serious about me negotiating w Jeff Bezos. 🤷🏿♀️
