A total reward package of $50k 18 Nov, 2021 - Sports Minister presents Samuel Takyi with his car and an envelope for $10,000 cheque. 16 Nov 2022 - Takyi receives $5000 of devt fee 27 July 2023 - Takyi receives $5000 of devt fee 1 Sept 2023 - Takyi refuses to participate in Ghana’s Olympic qualifiers in Dakar if remainder of his devt money ($10k) isn’t paid 4 Sept 2023 - Ministry said in a statement Takyi won’t get paid until he submits a proper plan for the intended use of the money 26 Sept 2023 - Takyi returns to Black Bombers team, participates in Paris 2024 Olympic qualifiers in Italy, doesn’t qualify. 7 March 2024 - Takyi receives remaining $10,000 after participating in Olympic qualifiers in Italy. So, the state does not owe Samuel Takyi. He received EVERYTHING the state owes him in FULL, per my checks.
