News: In a filing in federal court, the government confirms our reporting that it plans to begin deferred maintenance on East Potomac today, which would cause it to shut down. This is from their opposition to an emergency stay Doesn't give exactly what maintenance it will be but says they believe the "parking lot, retaining wall, signage, exterior of the Club House, interior of the Club House, flower beds, light poles, cart paths, maintenance compound, Driving Range Building, Driving Range, Golf Course Barn, Starter Building, and trees in the parking lot were all in poor or critical condition."

Old friends who played golf at East Potomac Golf Links the last 30 years play it today for likely the final time. DOI and the Trump administration expected to take it over after play today. The course opened on 1920. Many other stories like this on the course today.
