@youngfawnel@_idolofroses oh and when they said it was okay for katie to push hugh away because it wasnt his problem? and that it was okay for katie not to get involved because it wasnt her problem and that didnt make her any less of a girl's girl? super feminist
said this before u lot need to stop speaking on lizzie’s abuse and using it as a convenient tool in ur dumbass comparisons. now pierce is a bad person? great, glad we can finally agree considering liz stans have been screaming that he’s a rapist in response to your fandom saying she initiated her own rape
Their entire “focus on p*erce” take is built on weaponizing Lizzie’s abuse against her fans while pretending it’s criticism of him, because if they truly only cared about how awful HE is, they wouldn’t constantly frame it as something that humiliates or reflects badly on Lizzie.
Lizzie spent years riding for everyone around her just for them to abandon her the second grief made her inconvenient, sister dies and suddenly her house is “too depressing” for six whole years. played in her face BAD.
Misogyny is so normalized globally that women can list horrors women face worldwide and some of y’all will still shrug at it because you’ve been conditioned to see female suffering as the default. I’m just glad I was able to escape cuz that would’ve been my reality too.
The way some of y’all western women talk about misogyny you would think women globally aren’t still being sold, raped, honor killed, forbidden from leaving homes or having their genitals cut as children everyday. Reality exists outside your sanitized first world bubble.
“H plus L.” I grinned at him. “Together forever.”
“Yep,” he agreed, draping his arm over my shoulders. “And in twenty years’ time, when we come back here to visit, we can show this to our kids.” ♥︎
“I knew Liz was gorgeous, but her appearance could never hold a flame to her mind. The fact of the matter was she both challenged and intrigued me to the point where I was wholly invested in her.”

“Crazy,” “headcase,” etc. are insults rooted in the stigmatization of mentally unstable people that’s lit WHY they work as insults in the first place. And if he constantly uses them on HER specifically because he knows it’ll hit a nerve, then yes that is intentional and ableist.
he doesn’t need her medical records to know she’s mentally unstable and perceived that way by everyone around them. That’s EXACTLY why he keeps defaulting to “crazy” every argument and calling people “saints” for “putting up with her.” The implication is obvious.
You don’t need to know someone’s exact diagnosis to weaponize their mental instability against them especially when everyone around you already perceives them that way. Calling her “crazy” every argument because you know it gets under her skin is intentional & ableist idgaf.
"The girl was the definition of fall down seven times and stand up eight. No matter what seemed to be thrown her way, she always dusted herself off, climbed back up on her feet, and tried again."
