@capabilitycharl @ruthiehayes67 Just chiming in here to say that no dig was a concept long before he got involved and there are so many of us who just do the no dig part and not the ... Uh... other things 😅 😊

Direct action fucking works! Great turn out for @TLFBristol demo against the transphobic hate group Women Talk Back. They backed off and didn't do their TERF talk on campus! No TERFS at Bristol uni, or Bristol in general ffs!

@Saralimback @PeatFreeApril Had some of the best germination rates and results in my aged woodchip and homemade woodchip-based composts. So much better than the bagged stuff at home!

@Saralimback Literally this. I see so many try and define women as individuals with 'baby-carrying capabilities'. Leaving aside trans people for a moment, that's an insult to so many cis women. My understanding of feminism was about making sure women were seen as more than objects & enablers

@CitizensAdvice hi, I've been trying to contact the Bristol branch but the phone line is closed. My Landlord is trying to invoice us for work we weren't aware needed completing & we weren't told this would be happening. Hoping for advice on what our rights are. Thanks

@vftpottingbench I cut mine in half and then snip tabs on one end and fold in. Works amazingly! I always squeeze the plugs into those long mushroom trays - I get about 12 in 😊

@Saralimback I thought about this a while back and came to the conclusion that we mostly eat the fruit of plants, thus the plants are left to die back. Or in many cases the plant is readying for its maturity and death anyway!
English

If plants are so intelligent, should we stop eating them?
Seriously?!?
I have a million thoughts…….

Also the idea that you shouldn’t plant tomatoes till they flower is just not true. As simple as that. In fact the sooner you get them out, the more roots grow, and the better the crop. I hold flowering back to ensure those strong roots. #shoutyhalfhour #GardenersWorld

The southern city has been under attack for days.

@SkinnyJeanGard I think the thing people seem to be missing here is visiting a garden virtually is not going to be the only option. Yes, a great many of us don't interact with the world that way, bt there are many people who do. Lots of people don't have the transport (me) to gt to these places.
