The National Forum of People Living with HIV/AIDS Networks in Uganda (NAFOPHANU) Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026, opened today at Office of the President Auditorium, addressed by NAFOPHANU Board Chairperson, Salome Atom & other key stakeholders. The key highlights of the meeting include, among others, presentation & approval of the Annual Financial Report/Institutional Audit Report 2025, proposal for review & amendment of NAFOPHANU Constitution, the launch of the Strategic Plan 2025/26 - 2030/31 and election of the Board of Directors. #EndAIDS2030Ug

Young People Living with HIV, under the umbrella of the National Forum of People Living with HIV and AIDS Networks in Uganda (NAFOPHANU), discussed their priorities for the Global Fund Round 8 Application yesterday at Kampala City Council Authority Playground in Lugogo, guided by the Executive Director - NAFOPHANU, Flavia Kyomukama. They later played a friendly football match to encourage young people to engage in games & sports to avoid risky behaviour this festive season. #EndAIDS2030Ug

🌍 Strengthening Community Systems for Greater Impact This week, UGANET, together with @TASOUganda, conducted a joint support visit to the Uganda Youth Positives (@youngpositives). The visit is part of our ongoing work to strengthen Community Based Organizations (CBOs), enhancing their systems for reporting, accountability, and service delivery. Why is this important? Because strong CBOs mean stronger communities.
