"It’s an SI1, so it’s eye-clean, right?"... Wrong. 🛑
Most people shopping online think that as long as the GIA report says "SI1," the diamond is a safe bet. But look at these two Cushion Cuts.
The first stone has a dark black inclusion right in the center of the table. It’s a "dead spot" that you’ll see every time you look at the ring. The second stone? Also an SI1. But its inclusion is a tiny white crystal hidden on the lower left edge.
On a certificate, these stones are identical. On a finger, they are worlds apart.
This is exactly why people reach out to us. You can’t "buy the paper"—you have to buy the stone. We spend our days rejecting the "center-black" SI1s that big websites try to offload on unsuspecting buyers. We find the "hidden" winners that look like a VS1 but cost like an SI1.
Don't guess on your clarity. Let a professional vet the stone first.
We vet for:
✅ "True" Eye-Clean Clarity
✅ Proper Inclusion Placement
✅ Maximum Value for the Grade
DM us "SI1" if you want us to vet the clarity on a diamond you’re watching.
