this is my problem man, i couldnt be arsed if someone doesnt rate gyökeres or ødegaard or whoever. but they will slander those two for not scoring 100 goals or 100 assists a game but eze gets off for being a worse creator than curtis jones because "he starts slow ok 🥺"

In the champions league where there’s space for days. He’s actually having his worst season as a regular in the Premier League Our attacking players weren’t struggling 22/23 or 23/24 Eze usually starts seasons slow. His numbers until February last season were very poor for Palace

@cmbftbl cause of a lack of central progression, losing zinchenko is a bigger loss than most people will admit and rice/zubimendi themselves are very poor at progressive passing, it limits our attack and keeps us in “horseshoe” style football

I don’t think he has elite movement personally. He was a winger as a kid and that always shows in his tendencies He’s a great ball striking, he’s a great shooter and he’s turned into an elite presser. Runs the channels well enough too Outside of that, everything else leaves a lot to be desired

@yourfbiman No because if you have Alvarez, you still need a physical presence whom you can go long too, duel opposition CBs & provide a taller aerially dominant player in the box. That’s Havertz & Merino, that’s not Gyökeres
