Been thinking… I don’t think our problem is finding HR hitters anymore. We’ve been hitting too many of these random +500, +600, +700 dudes for that to be the issue. I think the next step is figuring out which guys actually belong together on the same slip. Instead of just throwing 3 names together because we like them, I’m gonna start tracking the archetypes. One anchor. One value guy. One deep space bat. Then logging the results. Not because I think I got baseball figured out… but because after a while patterns start showing themselves. Maybe veteran barrel guys pair better with young aggressive hitters. Maybe lefty anchors pair better with right-handed longshots. Maybe certain player types keep cashing together and we’ve just never tracked it. Either way, I think that’s where the edge is. The players change every day. The archetypes don’t. We’ve gotten pretty damn good at finding the names. Now I wanna find the combinations. 🚀

Everybody asks how I come up with these HR lists. Truth is, by the time you see the list, I’ve already crossed off way more names than I kept. First thing I look at is platoon advantage. That’s always been one of my biggest filters. After that, I started doing something different. I went back through old sheets from some of my biggest HR hits and started paying attention to the odds. Not the player names. The odds. I noticed certain odds ranges kept showing up over and over when I was landing those haymakers. So today I took every player that passed the baseball test and compared their HR odds to those historical ranges. If they didn’t fit, they got cut. That’s how this final sheet was built. Not because a guy hit one yesterday. Not because Twitter is talking about him. Not because he’s a superstar. Because he passed multiple layers of filtering. Will it work every day? Of course not. But I’d rather trust a process built from years of wins, losses, screenshots, and notebooks than chase whatever is trending for 24 hours. Sometimes the difference between a random HR parlay and a life-changing one is the work nobody sees.
