👤: i heard angelina jolie’s daughter shiloh was one of the dancers for these promos 🍊: that’s right. i didn’t know who she was when i was working on the album in the US, and only found out after i returned to korea. 700 people applied for the open audition we held for dancers, and shiloh was one of them. i remember she came in just wearing a T-shirt and jeans but looked like a model for a SPA brand, and that she danced really impressively. though she came dressed simply, her aura was overwhelming. the dance director said that for the sake of the team atmosphere, he didn’t tell me who shiloh’s family was. we kept in touch and would always send “i miss you” back and forth to each other, but once i found out she was angelina jolie’s daughter, it became harder to reach out. haha. #dayoung #다영

DAYOUNG on her solo debut: "I feel like if I made a physical album, only me and my mom would have bought it, the company suggested making one but I fought against it because I thought I'd be hurt if it ended up piling up in storage" "I prepared for my first solo with the mindset that it was my last. I had no expectations. Thanks to the love I received I'm able to comeback with a new song this time. I will be releasing physical albums when I'm more confident" DAYOUNG made her 1st comeback with 'What's a girl to do' today.
