we need to learn the science of separating the art from the artist. art is mostly independent of the artist and would've existed, in different fonts or colors, as a part of the collective signature of sorts anyway...

honestly i'm this close to quitting reading for good. every single author i actually love turns out to be problematic or worse. i'm so tired of finding out after i already got attached. feels like i can't enjoy anything anymore without a background check first

genuinely is there a single company in the us that can survive without a bailout?
Angela Belcamino@AngelaBelcamino
If Spirit Airlines can’t survive without a bailout, let it fail. Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to prop up broken business models. Who agrees?

watching @ankitatIIMA analysis changed my life cause i was lowkey ready for stuff like this to happen

People making jokes about Spirit airlines and saying Frontier should be next are ignorant. When there is no longer affordable options to fly then what? Not to mention the thousands of people losing their jobs in a terrible economy! This is not funny.

There is something fundamentally wrong with how we educate the young now.
Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein at 18.
Tolstoy published his first novel at 24.
Napoleon was a general at 24.
Pascal invented a calculator at 19.
Mozart composed symphonies at 8.
The common factor? All classically educated and trained. They were immersed in Greek and Latin, philosophy, mathematics, music, and history before adulthood.

Men mistakenly think that a woman's greatest fear is loneliness. You're 100% wrong. Her greatest fear is getting married, having children, becoming a domestic servant, living a boring and miserable life with a worthless husband, and realizing she wasted her time with you. She wants a life filled with purpose, growth, and genuine happiness on her own terms. The real fear is losing herself in a life that was never truly hers to begin with.
