A real Yapper!!!!! That’s how it is done! No other way! It always goes like “See, this stuff is layered….for context yeah….this person happens to be…..but before that one, this is what that person did that made him do this”. I’ll also be watching for body language to make sure you’re following.

I can't explain a story to someone without telling them multiple stories within that story. I need you to have context and that context needs more context 😂😭

“They simply don’t like the people on the ballot.”
Well, for the record, you are not even supposed to “like” a candidate. Liking candidates is part of the reason our democracy is in shambles. You are supposed to regard all candidates with equal skepticism, subject each of them to scrutiny, and then choose the most qualified for the cause.
Waiting to “like” a candidate is a shameful assumption that elections are feeling-based exercises. You may not like the most qualified of the bunch, but you must vote for them for a cause bigger and more important than your feelings.
Citizens liking political candidates is a prelude to idolatry and indiscriminate support for politicians. And with that comes the failure to hold political leaders accountable. This is not right.
However, the lazy dismissal - “they’re all the same” - must stop.
Because to think this way is to fail to understand that elections, at this point in Nigeria, are a “gun to your head” event. You must make a decision. And condemning all available options is the laziest decision any concerned citizen can take.
Therefore, we must end the mentality of “they’re all the same,” not only because it encourages electoral apathy among the masses, but also because it contributes to our democratic woes.
The shared similarity of the candidates is that they are all politicians. Beneath that, they are different personalities with different political histories. Binding them to the same character, and the same fate, is poor civic culture and poor individual reasoning
You're not voting for a man you like. you're choosing the least dangerous consequence you can live with.

Nigerians on twitter don’t want to agree that there are people who don’t have a candidate yet. It doesn’t mean they are sitting on the fence. They simply don’t like the people on the ballot. I watched asher’s recent video and ALOT of youths don’t even have PVC.
