We can announce that Gerhard Struber has been relieved of his duties as Bristol City Head Coach.
Roy Hodgson will take charge of the Men’s First Team until the end of the season, while the club will task the incoming Sporting Director with appointing a permanent Head Coach for the 2026/27 campaign.
The club’s recent performances have not met expectations and therefore Struber and Assistant Head Coach Bernd Eibler will leave with immediate effect.

@RealBristolBoy @joannab2015 @BristolCity Agreed but we knew in November that McNally first OP didn’t go to plan & had to have another, meaning season was over. Given Atkinson injury record and Vyner contract situation that had to be a position we strengthened in, not replace when lost.

I agree on JKL & said so at the time. IAF, at the time, Dickie & Atkinson were fit & they weren't 100% sure on Zak.
The real bad luck was having McNally & JCS out for the season.
If Atko's out for an extended period then it'll be the Free Agent market where fitness is always an issue.
Having your three best CB's out would be a nightmare for any club playing a back three

@joannab2015 @BristolCity I think if Gerhard wants to go on playing a back three, we may need to look for a free agent or introduce an Acdemy player like 6'6" Jack Hooper. LCB & not just a head on a stick. The kid can play & is a unit #BristolCity

Got to give credit to Twine today. Few passes didn’t go the way he wanted it to go but he keeps trying. Morsy solid experience in the middle of the pitch shows us his class on the ball aswell. Onto next week, could be a completely different 11 too ✅ safe travels home all👊🏼
