I hate that growing up i let white ppl tell me what is and isnt serious and now everytime I experience racism that's anything short of a hate crime I feel like a pussy bc im crying about something I was told to perceive as not serious or just me looking into things too much
This thinking right here is the issue. They view Black Americans as fellow immigrants that they’re in competition with for a piece of the American pie when really this IS our home that we’re rightfully defending as anyone else does with theirs.
