for all you know, this could be your last summer. as homer wrote, you will never be lovelier than you are right now. so tell her she has a pretty smile. get lean or become a unit. find wonder in boarding the airplane. drink more coffee than you need. walk on the beach until your feet hurt. write your girlfriend a note on a tuesday. waste money because its not all about retirement. pull over at the lookout. ask the uber driver about his life. tell the woman in the elevator you like her shoes and mean it. call your mother. ask the waiter his favorite thing on the menu and order that. theres so much life in the slow moments, and you sprint past it chasing the next thing. but at any time, in any situation, you can find the good. smile. be happy. recognize it for a one of one life experience. what good is walking around a curmudgeon when tomorrow could be curtains. for heavens sake, flirt with the world.

YOU CAN JUST DO THINGS. In Feb, I put a site together (in a few hours, late at night, in sweats, eating sour candy, on my friend’s couch) bc someone dmd me and asked how to book a style consult. I did not have an answer! Thus the site was born! I worked with a few clients since then, BUT JUST HAD 6 NEW BOOKINGS in the last 48 hours. Which means I’ll have to close shop for May. Will open up again in June :) it’s cool bc you really can JUST DO THINGS.

A (rather long list) of things guys are doing that they may or may not realize are actually lowering their testosterone and therefore declining the birth rate and creating a world full of soy boys: - Sleeping 5–6 hours a night and calling it “the grind”!!!!! - Binge drinking every weekend (even if you “eat clean”) - Constant nicotine use (vaping) - Smoking weed - Watching p*rn compulsively and frying dopamine pathways !! - Living off ultra-processed foods and energy drinks - Living under chronic stress with zero recovery!!!! - Being sedentary all day outside of one workout - Overtraining with no calories, carbs, or rest to support it - Staying overweight, esp carrying high visceral fat - Not getting enough sun / vitamin d - Not lifting heavy weights - Avoiding competition, challenge, or intensity entirely - Being chronically dehydrated - Eating too little protein - Spending all day indoors under artificial light - Staying isolated socially - Not taking recovery seriously - Using plastic containers for hot food - Living with terrible sleep hygiene, blue light at 1 AM, inconsistent schedule - Having untreated sleep apnea - Letting stress and anxiety stay permanently elevated - Never getting bloodwork done despite symptoms - Excessive exposure to endocrine disruptors (BPA, phthalates, certain fragrances, etc.) - Going years without real physical challenge or athleticism - Excessive SSRI, opioid, or anabolic steroid misuse - Starving themselves trying to stay “lean” - Not eating enough cholesterol or micronutrients to support hormone production - Having no purpose, direction, or forward momentum
