プレプリントがでました。WGSからEBV DNAを定量するパイプラインをつくり、cross-anscestry GWASを行いました。また、実際のEBV感染の影響を調べるため、EBVをscRNAseqで検出する手法を開発しました。それにより、MS患者のEBV感染memory B cellはEBV制御/MSリスク遺伝子発現の場となっていました。

We established a method to detect EBV from scRNAseq. The analysis reveals that EBV infection is concentrated in memory and atypical B cells. EBV risk genes and MS risk genes were preferentially activated in EBV-infected B cells in MS. (3/n)

Thrilled to share that our paper is out in Brain🧠🍻 Using single-nucleus Multiome profiling, we found that the most prominent changes in ALS occurred in spinal motor neurons. By integrating spatial, GWAS etc, we were able to build a more comprehensive view of ALS pathology🔭
