We’ve optimized the Canadian society around bureaucracy and paperwork. Builders need to push for changes. The new generation of Canadian builders need to foster enough animosity against these processes to drive generational changes that will make it easy for the generations after to continue innovating in this reformed arena.

@yacineMTB People seem to adapt pretty quickly and are simultaneously the bottleneck for rapid AI disruption.

Been getting this question A LOT since the $39k Model 3 was announced last night.
Let’s hear from other Tesla RWD owners about their experience driving in the snow ❄️
Personally I’ve never had an issue in snow. A good set of snow tires and it’ll outperform many AWD cars.

@DriveTeslaca @elonmusk @tesla_na Be honest with me, I'm trying to narrow down my choice for a new EV. How is the RWD on snow covered roads in the winter?

@deepseekinyou @yacineMTB Lots of people already file their own taxes without an accountant. Don’t know why you’re so hung up on this.. I use an AI tool to manage context and answer questions then file like everyone else.
English

@zacamaso @yacineMTB Tell that to the irs when they come for your ai filled tax return
English

@deepseekinyou @yacineMTB Id rather not pay an accountant every year in the first place than hire an accountant to reserve the right to hire a lawyer to sue my accountant when they inevitably fuck up lol. Im trying to delete bureaucracy from my life.
English

@zacamaso @yacineMTB You can take action against a human . Wtf are you going to do to the ai ? Scold it?
English

@deepseekinyou @yacineMTB How do you know your accountant is right? Mine wasn’t
English

@zacamaso @yacineMTB You think the accounts job is to do db queries? Lol
English

@yacineMTB "If your job is to look at a spreadsheet and move numbers to another spreadsheet based on a set of rules, you are just a CPU being paid a human salary." -George Hotz

My father in law yesterday asked me if I thought accountants were all going to lose their jobs
zaca@zacamaso
@yacineMTB Yea fired my accountant this year and did it myself in Cursor. Made a db and repo for all tax documents. Just drop a photo of whatever bs the gov sends me and AI ingests it into the repo. Also found out my accountant fucked up my taxes for years and it will cost me ~10k in fines

If Tesla FSD ends up saving even one life, that alone makes all the hype and hard work worth it. This isn’t just about tech or stock price — it’s about doing something that actually helps people in real life. Years of effort are finally showing real impact, and I’m proud to be invested in something that can truly make a difference and save lives. Thank you @elonmusk and thank you all the retail investors who believed in this .

wall street coverage on tesla:
- JPM: $130 PT (from $115). most bearish analyst in mega-cap tech
- MS: $600 PT. adam jonas keeps upgrading
- wedbush (ives): $700 PT. merger with spacex thesis
- UBS: just moved sell -> neutral
- BofA: hold
- GS: buy
PT range: $130 to $700
this tells you wall street has absolutely no idea what tesla is. they're arguing about a 5x spread. that's not disagreement, that's confusion.

Yes, Elon Musk can vote his shares in a hypothetical SpaceX-Tesla merger.
Both companies are incorporated in Texas, so the merger requires board approval on each side plus shareholder approval. On Tesla’s side, its certificate of formation sets the threshold at a majority (50% + 1) of the outstanding shares entitled to vote for fundamental transactions like a merger. Texas law imposes no restriction preventing a controlling or conflicted shareholder like Musk from voting his shares. Any self-dealing concerns would be handled through the board’s fiduciary duties and safe harbors (e.g., independent committees), not by blocking his voting rights. Texas rules remain management-friendly in this regard.
English

@TeslaBoomerMama @WR4NYGov He cant vote on merger or acquisition with SpaceX anyway.
English

@WR4NYGov Now you explain me why it was necessary to change the 2018 comp plan two days ago into restricted stock, i.e. the consequence being that he has voting rights TODAY vs in two years. What does he need 303 million voting rights this year for? No comp plan on the horizon. So what?

@TheDarkGoldMan So important that we have local PCB production in Canada. Good luck and let me know if theres anything I can do to help. Im in Montreal.
English

One thing I’ve noticed when looking at national competitors for my PCB fab startup is how low tech they are.
This signals to me a great opportunity. After reading and watching so much about how boards are made, I can clearly see a lot of tech that I’ve developed or integrated in the past being useful in making a facility that can wildly increase yields and be a lot more efficient in material usage.
The more I learn, the more I’m convinced that what I’m planning is the path I should follow. Being vertically integrated will have a huge impact on time to delivery, pricing and our ability to onboard more companies to use our platform for high volume.
I’m so so so excited!
English

@yacineMTB @CanadianPM Honestly you should get gov money if you can. Otherwise they will just continue to give all our money to their friends.
