Not all nasal sprays are the same. Saline, sesame seed sprays, etc are great topical washes. Intranasal corticosteroids (mometasone, etc) are great preventers (like asthma preventers for the nose). Nasal decongestants (oxymetazoline, etc) are BAD BAD BAD.
