Visit to Rice University for their spring showcase yesterday. Thank you @CoachChadJ for the invite and meeting you. It was a pleasure meeting and talking with @CoachTevv. This campus also holds history for our family. My great-uncle, Edwin Collins, played wide receiver here in the 1970s. He earned All-Southwest Conference and All-American honors and played a key role in Rice’s historic 14–13 victory over UH in 1972, catching both touchdown passes. Edwin graduated with a Bachelor in 1974 and was drafted by the NFL.
