Many public school educators change their minds on Texas' universal school choice program once they understand what it actually provides. Public school teachers and administrators see through the Democrats' lies. When they see how it really works, they support school choice.

Average teacher pay in Texas is the highest it’s ever been. But we must do more to attract and retain top talent while improving support for our educators. That's why I'm working closely with the Texas Legislature this session to give our teachers a well-deserved pay raise.

This elementary school is the most improved in Houston. They didn't get more money. Funding wasn't the driver of improvement. They got serious about improving student education & used innovative strategies to improve learning. All schools can do this. houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-t…
