@InvestingAddict I try and use less then 10% of my available credit limit and then pay it off when the bill posts. If I have to make a big purchase that will exceed that 10% then I will pay that off quicker.

I pay my credit cards off every Friday. There is something psychological about not letting the balance get too high. I will never miss a credit card payment in my life.

@InvestingAddict I pay mine off every month too but different. Follow me here… I wait till the very last day after 7. This way I earn 3.50% interest on money sitting in Robinhood banking… then I pay statement balance. The only thing I don’t do this on is my mortgage as interest accrues daily!!

@zanderblog @RobinhoodApp These kids are unbearable. All the major companies are adding it. Stop with the antics and turn it off if you don’t like it.

@CarioCapital @RobinhoodApp Fhen it would be a convoluted mess of an app. I like the way it is. I’m open to their design team making it happen though…

Another successful week of options. Closing in on $7000 for this year. My portfolio is still down in this environment but without options trading, it would be down so much more. Trading options is a game changer. Learn it.

I got it…let’s create a financial super app that allows you to gamble, invest for retirement, and trade all within the click of a few buttons.

@FurtureRichKid @livetradingbull Use whatever service you like but this is a lame excuse. If you have problems with gambling, having it in the app is no different than you hitting download on an actual gambling app, right at your fingertips, right in the App Store. Are you mad at Apple and Google too?! LOL

@Perry_ThePM I’ve never heard of “Kalashi”. I’ve heard of Kalshi though. Furthermore, you have absolutely no idea what a scam is if you think these services are one. Lastly, if you think that keeping this off their platform will somehow prevent an addict from gambling, you’re a fool

Robinhood Coinbase Kalashi Polymarket Are all scams. They are banking on robbing the average individual with their gambling products. They don’t care about helping YOU do better and break free. It’s up to you to do the research.

I'm seeing a growing number of posts from investors leaving $HOOD because of its gambling vibes $HOOD is known for its fast, gamified trading experience. $SOFI stands out as the more serious and trustworthy brokerage in 2026. - Significantly higher customer satisfaction scores - Cleaner regulatory record - Full suite of integrated banking and financial services For investors seeking reliability and professionalism, SoFi is the stronger choice. Robinhood or SoFi which platform do you prefer?

$HOOD I’ve continued reading stuff like this over the past few days, so here’s a couple of suggestions for the Robinhood team: 1. Every time a new user opens an account with Robinhood, ask whether they want prediction markets available for trading or not. 2. Give users an option to hide ALL prediction markets, not only sports. 3. Show a total P/L for event contracts traded, so users have an idea of how they’re doing. 4. Only send PM notifications to users who usually trade these. The person who only invests long-term and rarely trades doesn’t want to see this. I’m sure AI could make this possible. 5. Do personalized promotions for users who trade frequently. Give them a good deal so they don’t just trade on Kalshi (or Polymarket) instead. 6. Once you’ve figured all this out, double down on it. People who trade prediction markets (and understand them) want to make the most of it. If I open a chart (let’s say $NVDA) and I can see if there’s any PM available to hedge my position, that’s great. I trade prediction markets a lot, and I don’t believe it’s just gambling. But a lot of users do, so something needs to be done to address that and avoid people leaving the platform. My two cents.
Jack Raines@Jack_Raines

Moved my retirement accounts to Robinhood last year bc of their asset match (like 3% match on all assets or something like that?) But it’s incredibly annoying that you have to scroll past prediction markets (read: sports betting) to see portfolio positions. The forced sports betting is gross.

@KingTimmy0629 @JuanRodrig07 Technically it’s all gambling. People need to relax. I don’t mind more options for was to trade, call it whatever you want! I appreciate what Robinhood is doing!

Robinhood is never worth it. It is a mobile game for children. And all their incentives are tiered out over many years to the point where the reward is inconsequential. IIRC, you're effectively earning like 0.4% a year or something to deal with their garbage platform. Much better to just use a real broker.

@SolutionOrganic Dawg I used to swing trade SPAC warrants in my retirement account. Counterintuitively, if you're going to actively trade, retirement account makes more sense given that you don't have to account for capital gains.

@danielsinger @Jack_Raines @public Until they see how much money they are losing by holding out. I don’t use the prediction markets but I don’t mind it being there. In fact it is usually a good indication of an outcome! I really enjoy robinhoods look so I just ignore it. But I understand your position on it.
