Ricky Wassenaar was serving 16 life sentences and reportedly took out three convicted child pred*tors in a single day.
On April 4, 2025, notorious Arizona inmate Ricky Wassenaar, already serving 16 life sentences, k*lled three fellow prisoners convicted of child s*x offenses.
Wassenaar, housed in a sex-offender unit at the Arizona State Prison Complex-Tucson, first strangled his cellmate, Saul Alvarez, followed by bludgeoning inmates Thorne Harnage and Donald Lashley to de*th with a rock concealed in a laundry bag.
Afterward, he openly boasted about the k*llings, expressing regret only for not k*lling more child predators.
Despite his confessions, Wassenaar pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree m*rder, with prosecutors seeking the d*ath penalty.
