What the actual f, @VaDOTNOVA @ArlingtonDES?! I can’t even remember how long ago it snowed (3 wks?) and you can’t even clear the @BikeArlington path at 50/Fairfax Dr & N Barton???! As you can see from the tracks, I’m not the only bike rider / walker to brave the ice.

I don't live in AdMo so I can't say either way, but it does seem very early in the project's life to judge whether it will be effective — and what effective means. Change is a fact of life, and people eventually adapt. I'm curious how opinions will change by later this summer.

@Arl_Infra Yes. I heard of mothers getting strollers stuck. The crew was / is out just this morning.

Thx to 4-man @ArlingtonDES crew for FINALLY clearing the ice sheet on the pedestrian refuge between Wilson & Clarendon @ N Veitch in Courthouse neighborhood.

Found out the hard way at 8am on a Sunday that @ArlingtonDES didn’t shovel the @ArlingtonVA Blvd trail from Fairfax Dr westbound. Thanks… for nuthin. cc @BikeArlington

@bikeshare No worries. For what it’s worth, my specific suggestion for the planner is to put a bikeshare station on the west side of the Courthouse Plaza (near the Residence Inn).

@Arl_Infra @bikeshare Yes, that’s my guess, too. The study area specifically excludes Wilson Blvd; but the map suggests otherwise.
