@zadnes426 @AurumTM @drewlevin It already happens, low ELO is inflated with smurfs and boosters, I play regularly with dia+ players in gold and with irons that were inflated years ago. The difference is that with a reset they would go up or down, now they stay where they are instead.

pretty wild to read a bunch of masters+ players talk about how bad matchmaking feels 72 hours after we stopped using a bunch of historical data references that underpinned skill evaluation in apex, then scroll down and read someone argue that we should’ve done that for all ranks.

@drewlevin It should have been the entire ladder, all ranks. The same issues with historical data existed everywhere, not just Apex. Limiting it to Masters+ was a mistake. If you disagree with a full reset, you're just wrong.
