FNC taking Rell on R4 and rewarding the braum is super disgusting, because now Braum has real value inside of the game, instead of just blinding Jayce on R4 because most of the champs that could be picked into Jayce are gone and then remaining counters would hard/compromise MKOI's draft. Jayce also fits with Azir/Ezreal already and against what MKOI's current theme is. If you take Jayce on R4 and delay support to have full intel on the botlane matchup you potentially get access to really disgusting picks such as Soraka or even Sona in a spot like this and things become very brutal. Instead we go Rell on R4 to reward the Braum as mentioned, and MKOI actually finds probably the pick of the tournament (with now Anivia being second) for an amazing Vayne spot. Ezreal now loses his value in the game and Rell is punished even further. Trundle has an extremely hard time and now remaining top lane champion picks have to be catered towards trying to force into a theme identity for FNC that it otherwise wouldn't want to do and allowing MKOI to have their pick of the liter top lane. All because of Rell.
