Yes, the system is a good way for LEC teams to invest. But it has nothing to do with developing young talent. That's up to the teams in the LEC to develop their structure in the lower leagues to find and train those talents. So what you're complaining about is the teams' choices, not the franchise system. You're talking about two very different things here that have nothing to do with each other. And to get back to your original tweet, LR made the same mistakes, taking old players and former coaches for their roster, if I'm following your logic.

Instead they overpaid for mid imports and recycle the same old players and coaches. It was just a money sink with zero payoffs results wise, while also making it less enjoyable for fans and viewers

What you do not consider is why and when franchising started. Back in the days Franchising was a good way to make the league more pro, without it the LEC wouldn’t be as professional as it is right now. Every team would have prefer to get to the LEC with an Up and Down system but it is not the case. So now either you play with the rules either you don’t. So you can’t come up and say “This team did more for the league than the others” when it is actually not true at ALL.

@zaiiken_sama @MovistarKOI_en @KarmineCorp While KC, Koi maybe also brought viewership, LR singlehandedly proved that franchising is utter shit and we need a way for EMEA teams to be able to qualify for LEC. But we all know this will never happen since all the org paid money to be in LEC (even though they do jack shit)

I mean, KC and KOI did more than LR. What did they actually do to make it better ? Brought viewer ship? KC and KOI did the same. Did they pay the LEC spot ? No LR didn’t and they stopped the project instantly when they found out they wouldn’t have a free spot. So they did nothing special for the league.
