I am so excited to have the final chapter in this book, “The Silicon Man,” on @elonmusk's quip that humans are “biological bootloaders for digital superintelligence”, Genesis myths, the human intellectual inheritance, and whether “boot loading for digital superintelligence” could be a viable “meaning” for human life (spoiler… probably?)
It was such an honor to work with the whole @arenamagdotcom team on this beautiful project. Special thanks @mualphaxi for having the brilliant idea to make print books about the best element on Earth for digital computing, and @juliasteinberg for, among her many incredible editorial contributions, wading through 10,000 words worth of my musings on information theory
