My time at the league has been nothing short of extraordinary. I'm immensely grateful for relationships strengthened and cultivated, challenges overcome and successes achieved with my teammates. It's been an honor beyond words. I leave with head held high and no regrets.

NEWS: The NFL concluded a round of layoffs over the last 24 hours, cuts that impacted some NFL Network employees. The league-owned cable channel is expected to have an altered programming schedule this upcoming season, sources told @FOS. An NFL spokesperson said the league-wide cuts were made to "ensure the continued strength of our game and the business.”

Since Steve DeBerg, Gary Kubiak (Klint's dad) and John Elway snuck Denver into '83 playoffs, only one team has reached the postseason with a rookie QB drafted No. 1 overall: The 2012 Colts (Andrew Luck). Since the Colts drafted Elway at No. 1 in '83 and dealt him to Denver, teams have selected 25 QBs No. 1 overall.
Josh Dubow@JoshDubowAP

Here's when the 29 QBs taken No. 1 overall in common draft era started their 1st game: Game 1: 20 Game 2: 1 (Tim Couch) Game 4: 1 (Baker Mayfield) Game 5: 1 (Alex Smith) Game 8: 1 (Mike Vick) Game 10: 2 (Eli Manning/Jared Goff) Game 12: 1 (Vinny Testaverde) Game 16: 1 (JaMarcus Russell) Year 2: 1 (Carson Palmer)

We’ll get Andy Reid in 15 minutes here in Phoenix. Hawaiian shirt should be a draw.
