Once Coachella started booking artists like Drake and Kanye that’s when it started to shift and then Beyoncé headlining is what pushed it over.
Bey headlining was a blessing and a curse for the festival. Now everyone expects that level of headliner when that was never Coachella’s vibe or mission. They’re gonna have to go back to that eventually.

Beyonce's also at 54m listeners on Spotify which is fine... But let's not pretend that it's Drake or Kanye level.
