@rebelEducator Private schools can pick and choose their students so anyone w/ special needs (read expensive) can be politely refused. Public schools don't have this luxury. Not all public schools (e.g. poor districts) can lean on parent volunteers and fundraising the way private schools can.

The average private school tuition is $12,300 per student. The average public school spends $17,800 per student. That’s a 45% difference. Educating kids doesn’t have to be obscenely expensive, the government is just really inefficient at it.

@JamesSurowiecki Hardly a political issue, the acceleration is insane (Y) and the experience far superior to any gas vehicle I have ever driven. Everyone yaps on until they actually experience a good one. Charging's never been even slightly an issue other than to marvel at the lack of a gas bill.

71% of Republicans just say they flat out will never buy an electric vehicle. Not going to do it under any circumstances.

This thing is amazing -- like having a bunch of grad students read a ton of papers for you and you just talk to them. I'll be lost for the next few days in this thing digging in on the topics I have a fuzzy understanding of.
