I can’t believe what’s happening in Gaza… Today, more than 40 tons of spoiled chicken entered the city, expired for over six months. The pictures are not enough, the smell is unbearable, and mold is visible on every piece. Here we are, a people who haven’t eaten chicken for months, maybe years, dreaming of a simple meal, and what reaches us is a direct threat to our health and lives. We have been waiting for months for frozen foods, hoping for safe food, but today, everything shattered before our eyes. Diseases, cancers, infections… all are possible. This is a clear disregard for our lives, with no consideration for us or our children, no conscience at all. How is it allowed to send this destruction to a besieged people? How does clearly spoiled food reach us? Where is the world in all of this? Are these pictures not enough to awaken anyone’s conscience? Or is our life here worthless?

Thinking of this heart-rending anecdote as I look at pictures of the Palestinian infant Israeli soldiers tortured with lit cigarettes.
"They have this sort of protocol, for lack of a better word, of making sure that they terrorize Palestinian children early. They believe that they have to instill fear from a young age, so they grow up fearing Israelis, & fearing Jews in general, & that's how they control them. And so they have all kinds of ways to do that, & a lot of it is recorded. A lot of it is captured in pictures & video, & it's all there for the world to see. And yet we are still scrutinized for the way we react, and even for the things we say. Like, that is the, that's the mind blowing part to me." @susanabulhawa

I can’t believe what is happening right now in one of the refugee camps in Gaza. A massive wall suddenly collapsed onto the displaced people’s tents! Simple tents, full of families and children, turned in an instant into graves.
Dozens of people have died, including children and women, and hundreds are injured or missing under the rubble. The civil defense teams are doing everything they can to extract the victims, but the debris is huge and resources are limited, and many cannot be reached yet.
How can this happen? Small tents that were supposed to be shelters have become traps for sudden death! We are one of the most oppressed and targeted peoples in the world, yet the world seems to watch this as if it were something trivial, as if our lives are just numbers in the news.
We just want to live, to live with dignity, but everything here is collapsing over our heads. How can this be our reality? Every moment carries death, and every day the world seems indifferent while we struggle to survive amid the rubble and destruction.
