Fortnite will return to Google Play Store worldwide soon. Epic Games Store continues supporting Android worldwide alongside Windows and Mac, and installation on Android will become much easier later in 2026.

A store can charge a fee for selling a product.
What the court found is: after you’ve bought a game, the store can’t force all in-game commerce between you and the developer to go through them with 30% junk fees.
It’s like a car dealership demanding 30% of gas purchases.

Steam’s rules do explicitly prohibit games from steering players to competing purchase methods, forcing everyone to pay 30% to Valve.
Apple and Google did the same until the court explicitly found this practice to be unlawful. Now they don’t!

If Valve’s 30% transaction fee is so outrageous (it’s not), then others can simply provide alternatives and charge less. If players still don’t want those alternatives, it’s for a reason: the higher prices they see are worthwhile for the various services involved. So, the alternatives need to also compete on quality. That isn’t an “unlawful monopoly”, that is a competitive service provided at an acceptable rate for developers and players alike. A competitor can undercut that price, but they have to actually do a good job providing an alternative. It is completely absurd to involve the government to punish Valve.

I'm sorry but they hit their lowest point of marketing yet. Announcing a very big story event? No. LET'S ANNOUNCE BRAINROT EVENTS! I'm sorry but it feels like they're sabotaging their own growth for some unknown reason. Wouldn't be surprised if the event will have less ccu than Death Star Sabotage.
