Zach Arnold - NASCAR & Motorsports

The #Goodyear400 was my final race that I will attend as a college student with graduation coming up in just under a month. Over the last 4 years, I’ve attended 62 races across all three national series. Tonight, I wanted to take it all in and hang around the track a little longer. Being from Boston, I never thought that number would get that high. Im super thankful for every race I get to attend, it has been a dream come true to cover my passion in college. The 3 year old diehard #NASCAR fan I was would be very proud.

What an electric weekend of racing at Lime Rock & EchoPark. Truly had everything a #NASCAR fan could have wanted. My heart genuinely hurts for all the people who aren’t tuned into NASCAR. Missing out on pure cinema & greatness

The first two stages of the NOAPS race were fairly clean of large wrecks, and the same here in the Cup race. Then the NOAPS race found 4 red flag halts in the third stage alone. I wonder if the Cup race will be similar #NASCAR

This is honestly electric. I could watch this all night (and am, I guess!)

This racing is unreal. Every lap, every straightaway, every turn there is a move or a pass or a moment where you think a car is headed straight into the wall. This type of track only proves how talented these drivers are #NASCAR

Reddick just saved himself so many points #NASCAR

Guess the weather delay made these guys want to race like each lap was the final lap… what a restart this has been #NASCAR

It’s crazy to see that these drivers we watched 5-7 years ago now mentioning how they used to be night owls and didn’t mind rain delays… Now, many of them mentioning their kids and how they’ve transitioned into morning people with bedtimes. Pretty cool #NASCAR

3 hours, 9 minutes, 18 seconds appears to be the time of the red flag.

JMAC just made a great point, tiredness can play a huge role in these races, with the impact it has on reaction time and decision making. Especially at a track like EchoPark. #NASCAR

Something about going back green late at night after a long weather delay is so special and hype. Losing hours of sleep before work tomorrow is worth it to me to if I get to watch some Cup Series action 😎 #NASCAR

This Wipeout weather delay content is giving me reminders of the NOAPS race last night: #NASCAR

Didn’t get to see that Carson Hocevar interview when it was live during the pre-race show, but wow, I’m impressed. Showed a lot of class, which I’m sure is a topic many people misunderstand him for. Honesty and “attitude” is what we need from the drivers who shape our sport #NASCAR

The inclement weather hold has been lifted at the track and fan activities have resumed here in Atlanta.
