Because most of them built the economy first and the game second. Players can smell when the fun is a wrapper around extraction. The ones that will work are building real IP. Characters, story, world. Then the token layer rewards engagement with something people already care about.

Web3 gaming is never going to win. Most of the sector tried to financialize weak gameplay and call it innovation. Gamers are already burnt out on monetization tactics in normal gaming by executives who do not even play video games. So when Web3 gaming showed up with tokens, points, and airdrops, it did not feel new. It felt like the same disease in a different wrapper.

@Kyleigha_B The only fix is radical transparency. Published security docs, renounced contracts, locked LP with on-chain proof, legal opinions you can actually read. If a project can't survive that level of sunlight, that tells you everything.

Every rug pull makes legitimate projects harder to build. FTX set the whole industry back years. Not because everyone was complicit but because everyone got painted with the same brush. Scammers don't just steal money. They steal credibility from everyone trying to do this right. That cost is hard to measure but very real.

@_basti42 If you're building for generations, you build on the chain built for generations. That's Ethereum. Bridging to other chains for accessibility makes sense. But the foundation matters. You don't build a cathedral on sand.

Accountability. That's the word nobody wants to hear. When the $ZARO treasury got hacked early on, the founder @shihabkhalil didn't disappear. He bought every token back with his own money and published the incident report on GitHub. That's what accountability actually looks like in this space. Not a Twitter thread. Action.

mainstream adoption is slow because trust is broken and everyone can see it. the fix isn’t better marketing or a new coin. it’s a higher standard. verified builders. verified traders. credibility that exists everywhere and accountability that’s actually upheld. the people who establish that standard early are the ones who will define what this space looks like in the years to come.

Crypto onboarding is broken because the first thing normies see in this space is absolute chaos. Some guy with twenty wallets just bought in "early" and dumped it on your head. No normal person with a regular job looks at this and thinks "yeah I want in" We keep wondering why mainstream adoption is slow while the most visible activity in the space looks like a casino run by people who are openly rigging it. The moment this space starts calling out extractions and pays attention to the actual builders and supporting them is when we'll see a difference. It's happened before, it can happen again.

The trust problem is real. And it won't get fixed by more regulation or better UI. It gets fixed by projects that actually show their work. Publish your security docs. Publish your legal opinion. Renounce your contract. Lock your LP with real money. If you can't survive that level of transparency, maybe ask yourself why.

Exactly. Mainstream adoption is slow less because people “don’t get crypto” and more because the first thing they see often looks like organized extraction. If the visible layer is insiders farming attention, dumping on newcomers, and calling it culture, normal people will stay away. Real adoption starts when the first experience feels useful, fair, and not rigged.

Because most crypto gaming and NFT projects are built around the token. The game or the world is an afterthought to justify the price. Flip that and build the world first, the token becomes something people actually want to hold because the universe behind it has real depth. That's the only model that sustains.

Fair enough but remember that nfts and axie was only a few months, no more than 5 months of hype. Axie peak was 3M users, that's not that much compared to traditional games. if we compare niches, nfts and gaming have not done what memecoins have done since 2017, every cycle for memecoins is golden age. Doge is still top 10, new coins like pepe, dogwithat, pengu, come every cycle.. why cant we have that for gaming again?

We minted initially on Ethereum 0xc311FD6DA9686507F33991543d8158EF5FaDd5E7 and prepared the near future on BSC and Solana using Wormhole bridge. Locked 1 eth based and issued 1 non-eth. So we have 3 chains. LP now sits on ETH - for a few weeks until the universe fully opens, then will seed the BSC and Solana LPs

To be honest, stewardship might have been a good idea for Raider Token. It's very hard to get people united on anything or motivated to do anything. Unfortunately, we're very hostile toward leaders, so it won't work. Every potential leader failed to unite anyone. Being leaderless brings a whole bunch of other problems with it.
