Trigger jerk has a bigger effect the bigger the distance is between you and the target, because half a inch move on a target thats a meter away is gonna move the shot with let say one inch but half a inch jerk on a target thats 15+ meters away is gonna move the impact of the shot a much more noticable distance resulting in missed shots. So if the question is does "trigger jerk" matter that much in close range combat lets say 2-5 meters away the answer is no not really but if we are talking a bit longer range it sure does and it can save your life.
