Started working on my (long overdue) Hub world. I did quite a bit some time ago but now I completely remodeled the base layout. The old layout mesh is about 3 years old and made at a time when I was first learning Blender.

@lilsisgay @CanCanVRC Since when does anyone have friend join notifications off? Never heard of that.

@CanCanVRC the perpetual issue is that a lot of people wont have notifications for when friends are joining and when you're mid conversation or fishing you don't know whether someone joined that wants to see you, and discord pings dont really work either. teleport system needed tbh

I just want to be cuddly with friends. Even if I participate in game worlds like Slashco and ToN...I die because I'm new or unlucky? Go sit alone while the rest have fun. Fish? If nobody is on the home island, I usually sit alone, get lost, or will get left behind. Never again.

@xuwu You are wrong about the local only. This was an easily accessible free show for international audiences as well.

VRChat’s New Year CCU record lasted only a month before it was broken by the Super Kaguya-hime! event. What’s wild is it was just a local event in Japan, it wasn’t easy to join, and day one even failed and got postponed by a full day. This is a reminder that we don’t need to wait for the hardware to be perfect, or for big tech to fully commit. VR will keep growing anyway.
