It's such a stark difference. Denver was awful defensively on the perimeter and at the rim. Jokic didn't try to provide resistance at all and Wemby is trying to block EVERYTHING.

People that wanted to rewrite Jokic's legacy are going to do so because they've had to suck it up and take it for three years. They will not be convinced otherwise. You're better off just rolling your eyes and keep it moving.
He's accomplished REAL things. He's been incredible. He sucked in this series from start to finish outside of Game 5. You play who's in front of you. He bears burden for the failure of this year's team more than his defenders will want to believe and less than his haters will.
You're never going to stop people from trying to tear down someone who has accomplished what he has if they still want to. If he hasn't earned their respect yet, they will never give it to him because it's too detrimental to their base sports opinions.

I think hyperbole is the problem. As a Warriors fan, having to hear Jokic is the greatest offensive player of this generation never made any sense. Steph is 3-4 tiers above.

I’m doing this without looking at numbers, but I recall him being pretty good from mid-range in OKC and his first couple of years in Houston.

@JonesOnTheNBA The problem with Harden midrange is he shoots that tippy toe jump shot that’s hard to get off in the midrange. Shai jumps and uses that push off move to get the space. Harden and even Steph have a hard time getting shots off in the midrange because of their shooting style.
