@haderachdingus Bobby is so badly written as a character, they also changed his sexuality preferences for absolutely no reason. He’s carried by his powers, but the character is so dumb, he’s not able to reach his potential.

I’ve always believed the US’s bizarre restrictions on food donations and the subsequent mass-scale food waste are bc Americans don’t have a deep-rooted internalized anguish at the thought of food waste, bc the US has never collectively gone through a devastating famine

An American showed what his local Krispy Kreme does with unsold donuts at night. Straight into the trash. After private equity took over, the price of a dozen climbed to $22. And instead of selling them cheaper… They’d rather WASTE the food than lower the profit margin.

Just rewatched HIGHLANDER after literally DECADES by proudly showing it to my son, and to my great embarrassment I found it was NOT the brilliant epic I remembered, but:
Slow paced.
Flashy. Clunky. Gaudy. Pedestrian sword fights. Barely noticed the Queen music.
It is elevated a little when Sean Connery or Clancy Brown are on screen, but other than that, as Monty Python says in a sketch....
"whole thing's a bit silly."

I actually don’t hate Friends and I think highly of most of its cast members but this story is still possibly the funniest thing I’ve ever read and demonstrates how much funnier Rudd is than any of those guys.

1. Emma Frost is a wonderfully complicated and endearing character who’s fully proven herself as a hero and leader of mutantkind
2. There are multiple characters who should be allowed to murder her at least three times each
